Amitriptyline Review

I had suffered these debilitating headaches from an early age. They sometimes became painful migraines that would leave my head pounding for days, sometimes weeks nonstop! I recall missing school some days and even parties and holidays. I dreaded planning for outings or get-togethers for fear of the migraines. I regularly had to go to bed with head pains and even waking up with it on a daily basis. There was clearly no idea I had not tried to get me out of my misery, until late in 2000, when I went to a pharmacy to get some prescriptions. I noticed one of the staff who shared the same plight with me, smiling and seemingly up-beat and filled with life! Upon my inquiry, she told me her doctor had recommended she use Amitriptyline and in a matter of days her headaches subsided. This prompted me to head to my physician asking for the same Amitriptyline prescription. In no time, I was able to sleep with ease and dosed like a baby! I now look forward to various activities. I no longer experience the nagging pains that I used to in the past. It was a miracle!
I can barely recall the last time I had a migraine ever since. When I do encounter some mild headaches, I don’t need to take additional meds to make them go away, as they disappear on their own. My life has been dramatically changed as a result of using Amitriptyline. I’ve become an improved parent, spouse, daughter and friend.
